Nestled in the rolling hills between Chianti and the Crete of Siena, in a magnificent setting, is La Selva. It was a Medici castle, and is now and ideal place to spend holidays in harmony with the natural surroundings.
The scenery is typical of the pictures painted by the Renaissance artists. It has rolling hills and sweeping valleys, marked by cypress trees and adorned with vinyards, olive groves, and large forests of oaks, giving shade from the heat of the summer.
The apartments are in an independent stone building near the main Villa.Situated within the gates of the main property are two apartments. They are both on the upper floors in separate buildings and with independent entrances. They both have very large terraces with spectacular views. They have the use of the pool of Villa La Selva few metres away.

A very charming apartment decorated in the traditional Tuscan style. It has a large fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace, 2 double bedrooms. A very large bathroom with bath and 1 bathroom with shower. There is a living room which opens out to a large terrace of 60 sqmts and has a large table for outdoor dining. There is terrace furniture for outdoor sunning. It has a great view on all sides overlooking the private grounds and gardens of the Villa.

The beautifully furnished living room is richly decorated, one wall having library shelves covered with books, a pull-out double bed, dining area, fireplace and living area. There are steps down from the living room to a small attractive well fitted kitchen and at the other end of the room there is newly fitted bathroom with bath. The hall leads to the double bedroom and the lovely private terrace that has views across the country side. The perfect place to enjoy dining and a quiet glass of wine.
The main room opens out to a large and very private terrace of 60 sqmts which is fully furnished with outdoor furniture for dining and sunning. The view is spectacular.
This property shares the wonderful large Roman Style swimming pool with the owners of this Estate, who use it occasionally, only a short distance from the apartments. A walk through the Estate brings you to the restaurant run by the owner.
Shops in Ambra (5 km) and Bucine (15 minutes drive)

Within a 15/30 minutes drive, you can visit the art cities of Siena (25 Kms), Monte San Savino and Sinalunga. In the direction of Chianti there is a constellation of little medieval villages and castles, full of history and each with their own personal story through the centuries.
Within 30/45 minutes drive you can visit places like Cortona, Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo, Volterra, San Gimignano, Pienza and Montalcino. Florence is only 45 minutes away
